The attached file is in CS4 format. It makes a local shared object, then saves it to the user's computer. Below is a working version of the swf. If you input some information and click the "submit" button (sorry for the minimalist design of the button, but I didn't spend any time on it to speak of), the program should retain your information whenever you come back. Assuming you are using the same computer and the same browser, that is. It's a great way to store persistent information between program runs (try it. refresh the page and your information will still be there).

I am currently putting together the course design for a course of instruction. I am investigating the potential of designing the course using nothing but Flash and, while the basic structure and navigation pose no major problems, I have come across one problem and I would welcome your thoughts on this.
